Wonder is an idea I have been working towards for 5 years, and to finally be able to begin the journey of bringing this version of Alice's story to life, has been such a gift. Throughout my time at Sheridan, I have focused on writing, directing, and producing and one day hope to write for television and become a showrunner.

It has been such a great pleasure being a part of this production. Creating the world of new Alice has been such an amazing thing. I felt like I was that little girl reading “Alice in Wonderland” for the first time and imagining the world she lives in. I hope the viewers will like the world we created and the characters in this pilot as much as we do.

It was really fun getting to blend both personal dramas with trippy experimental editing and finding a balance between the two. I'm particularly fond of what we in the industry call "post-production", and I hope to have more editing opportunities in the near future! Who knows, maybe one day I'll even pitch my own web-series.

I had an amazing time working on the soundscape for this pilot due to it being a time period piece! It also challenged me to think outside the box which I really loved. After sheridan Id love to be working on sound design for animation as well as working in the art department.

My name is Deedee and I’m the lucky composer for Wonder! Making music has always been a passion of mine and I’ve been given a great opportunity to make Wonder more fantastical than it already is. After my graduation next year from BFTV, I hope to continue sound designing and composing for talented directors like Carly, as well as being a freelance content creator for local businesses
